Vivo has confirmed the launch date of its new battery-focused phone. The Vivo Y600 will go on sale in China on October 30, and its headline feature is a huge 10,000mAh battery that Vivo says can last two full days. The company is not shy about showing off the phone's endurance. Vivo has already put the Y600 through a Guinness World Records battery test, streaming video continuously for more than 32 hours.
A battery that set a world record
Official posters show the phone in White and Blue color options, with a flat frame and a square dual-camera module with rounded corners. The markings on the camera module confirm a 50-megapixel primary camera with an aspherical lens. The bigger story is endurance. On August 11, 2026, the Y600 livestreamed continuously for 32 hours and 37 minutes, earning a Guinness World Records title for the longest smartphone product-testing livestream. Vivo says the phone delivers two days of battery life on a single charge.
Leaked specifications
Leaks from tipster Experience More on Weibo suggest the Y600 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. The same leaks point to a 50-megapixel main camera, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, and 44W wired charging. A 3C certification listing for model V2607A backs up the 44W charging figure. A global Y600 5G variant has also appeared in the Google Play Console device list with the model number V2626, 6GB of RAM and Android 16, hinting that the phone may travel outside China later.
A familiar design under a new name
Some reports say the Chinese Y600 may be a rebranded version of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G that launched in Malaysia, since the two phones share matching model numbers and key specs. Vivo has not officially confirmed this link, so any differences in the final specifications are still unknown.
