Information we collect

When you send an inquiry, we store your name, email address, subject and message. The inquiry form also requires your consent before submission. Newsletter signups store an email address and the time of consent. Event registration, when available, stores your name and email address after you consent to be contacted. The site also uses technical request logs, including IP addresses, for operation and security.

How we use it

We use submitted information to respond to your request, manage newsletter interest or event registration, and operate and protect the website. The public forms save requests for our team to review. Automated newsletter sending and confirmation emails are not currently configured.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The website uses an essential session cookie for form protection. The administrator area uses a session cookie for sign-in. Public pages use Google Analytics to measure visits and page views. Google Analytics can set first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions; usage data is sent to Google. See Google's information about Analytics cookies. Public pages also load Google AdSense. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google uses advertising cookies to help show and measure ads. Storage and sharing

Submitted records are stored in the website database and are available to authorized Histic administrators. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical data needed to serve and secure the site. We do not sell form submissions or subscriber lists.

Retention and your choices

No automatic deletion period is currently configured for submissions. We keep records while they are needed to manage requests and the website, and you may ask us to review or delete your information by emailing support@histic.us. We may need to retain information where required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
